Delta Botanicals Review: 60-Second Summary
If you’re looking for a CBD-enhanced cooking oil, then this is the best place to find such a thing. Otherwise, Delta Botanicals falls short when it comes to proving their integrity. Nowhere on the site will one find any CoAs or even the slightest discussion of laboratory testing. Furthermore, there is a total lack of information about the source of their hemp. In short, we encourage exercising caution with this company.
Delta Botanicals Brand Review
Based in Maryland, Delta Botanicals seems to take pleasure in manufacturing ultra-consistent, highly potent hemp-based cannabidiol oils. On the one hand, the optimist could easily let the aesthetically pleasing website lead to the belief that Delta is an ethical and responsible company. On the contrary, there are quite a few glaring holes in the information they provide to the public.
Primarily, there is nothing about their source material listed anywhere on their site. It is the nature of CBD consumers at large to be interested in the where and how of the hemp cultivation, what kind of people grow them, the product development process, and specifics about the quality of the CBD products produced. It is, therefore, impossible to say whether Delta is using organic hemp from Farmer Joe, or a pesticide-laden crop cultivated by Monsanto; there isn't the slightest mention of testing for contaminants, much less Certificates of Analysis for such tests.
All that said, Delta Botanicals does have a few things going for them. They have pioneered something they call “Pure CBD,” which they explain is a procedure that ensures every milligram of CBD listed on the bottle is active, 100% clean cannabidiol from hemp. Not surprisingly, consumers have no access to any tangible evidence to support this claim; however, they do have a color coding system that helps the customer determine the strength of a particular oil or e-liquid: blue, green, gold, and purple labels in order of weakest to most potent. This idea is helpful on its face, but like their “Pure CBD” verification it is also not verifiable.
Perhaps the most outstanding product offered by this brand is their CBD cooking oil, something relatively few vendors offer. It is a combination of coconut oil (in all its healthy, high-heat-stable glory) and CBD-rich hemp oil. This blend could be used to make eggs, stir fry, or even to spritz up a salad during a stressful day at work.
Delta Botanicals makes many sensational claims; a simple word to the wise – there is a lot of talk out there, but very few able to back up their statements with tangible evidence.
